- A 100 level Chemical engineering student of the University of Port Harcourt identified as Hikmat Gbadamosi was found dead in her off campus apartment in Aluu.
She is the daughter of a former deputy governor of Oyo state.
Her death was said to be an act of suicide, since empty bottles of sniper were discovered beside her. Her body was discovered by a concerned course mate who came to check up on her because she was absent from school.
Contradictory stories about the reason for her suicide have arised.
Whether her suicide was because of a heartbreak, or a medical condition she had from birth, her death is indeed painful.
