A company had it’s end of year party. there was so much to drink and eat that most people became drunk.
Obiora had to pick up his wife from work that day so, he had little to drink. Unfortunately for him his teammate was too drunk to drive home, he offered to take her home since her house was on his way.
That gesture made him arrive late to pick his wife.
His wife who had been tired of waiting for her husband to come for her, removed her shoes to rest her feet as soon as she got into the car.
While they drove home the husband suddenly spotted a pair of lady shoes where his wife was and thought his coleague had forgotten her shoe.
he had to do something he said to himself.
they were just going past a building, this was his last chance, he said to himself. he had to act fast. he immediately pointed at a=the building, telling the wife how beautiful it was, as soon as she turned to look at it he threw her shoe out the window.
He exhaled and told himself that he had done well. he would rather throw away a shoe and apologize to his colleague rather than have to explain to his wife and risk a fight home.
they arrived home and the wife started searching frantically for a pair of her shoe. she could not understand the disappearance.
Obiara knew that he had made a great mistake. he actually threw out his wife’s shoes.
